State Senator Paul LeVota at our Independence, MO Pharmacy

Jul 29th, 2014

Genoa would like to thank our pharmacy crew in Independence, Missouri for its part in an exciting visit by State Senator Paul LeVota. Sentor LeVota sits on three legislative committees that are important to Genoa: the Rules, Joint Rules, Resolutions and Ethics Committee, the Ways and Means Committee, and the Senate Interim Committee on Medicaid Transformation.  The staff discussed with Senator the role pharmacy has in providing care for our consumers. He heard about adherence packaging, refill reminder calls and medication synchronization.
