Genoa Pharmacy Opens in Open Door Health Center – Mankato, MN

Aug 7th, 2018

The Genoa Healthcare Mankato, MN pharmacy recently celebrated its grand opening within Open Door Health Center, a community clinic in Mankato, MN. With the partnership, Open Door Health Center is able to increase the level of care and value for its patients.

Open Door Health Center offers medical, dental, and behavioral health services. “Having the pharmacy here with Open Door and in Mankato really offers our patients that one–stop shop to be able to get medical, dental or behavioral health services and also then their pharmaceutical needs all at one place,” said Doug Jaeger, CEO of Open Door Health Center.

The addition of an on-site pharmacy not only means convenience and reliability for patients in the center, it also means affordability. “Sometimes there’s a financial burden on folks to be able to get their medications,” says Genoa Healthcare’s Director of Operations, William Wrigley. “We have tools that we can utilize in partnership with our clinic partners to try and find options for those patients to make sure that cost isn’t a reason that they are going without medication.”
