Genoa, a QoL Healthcare Company Celebrates One Year

Jul 27th, 2015

In July 2014, Genoa Healthcare and QoL meds combined to create Genoa, a QoL Healthcare Company, the nation’s leading behavioral health specialty pharmacy company. This merger brought together two pharmacy organizations with proven track records for excellent service to individuals with mental illness. Both companies had strong reputations for outstanding customer service, flexibility and delivering true value to their consumers and partners. By uniting their strengths – like best practices and expertise – the combined company was able to better serve individuals and the health organizations that care for them over the past year. Genoa has been serving the behavioral health community for over 15 years, but they are celebrating the one year mark of the integration of Genoa Healthcare and QoL meds this month.  The company now provides specialty behavioral health and long-term care pharmacy services to more than 400,000 individuals annually, operating 265 pharmacies in 37 states and the District of Columbia. In the past year they added 425 jobs and now fill more than 8 million prescriptions per year. The first year was an exciting time of growth and change for the company, adding 50 new pharmacies and acquiring Northeast Pharmaceuticals and West Bend Assisted Living Pharmacy. In the midst of tremendous growth, they have also managed to complete a seamless integration, due to the dedication and effort of their teams across the country. As Genoa looks forward to the future, they will continue to grow and expand.  “Hard work, dedication, and relentless focus on consumers and partners will as always be at the core of our culture,” says CEO John Figueroa. “We are proud to care for this special population and look forward to another record-breaking year.” For more information, please contact Melissa Odorzynski at (952) 657-7481 or [email protected].
